As the manager of Infrastructure and Assets, you are responsible for the development and execution of the facility policy, building management, safety policy, and maintenance & management of infrastructure and machinery. You ensure efficient and effective execution of activities of the infrastructure and assets department.
This also includes leading engineering projects related to machine installation and infrastructure upgrades and renovations. Ensuring that projects are completed within budget and timelines while adhering to quality standards. Additionally, coordinating the procurement, installation, and removal of heavy healthcare equipment.
The infrastructure and assets department is responsible for internal service delivery, machine maintenance, as well as management and use of Unilabs Netherlands' properties, including technical installations, ensuring quality and continuity are always maintained.
You lead and coach the entire infrastructure and assets department. Externally, cleaning, security, and machine maintenance (if applicable) are outsourced; you are contractually, budgetarily, and result-wise responsible for this (SLA responsible). Additionally, you are responsible for supplier management of maintenance parties and lessors of (prick) locations.
You are also responsible for compliance with Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) standards, legal regulations (legal and compliance), as well as productivity levels.
You are the representative of the organization in the relevant field. You maintain contacts with various networks including emergency services.
Requirements
• Minimum HBO (Higher Vocational Education) level of education (e.g., Engineering, Facility Management, or HTS education)
• Demonstrable experience in Asset management, preferably in a healthcare setting
• Experience with project management tools and methodologies
• Good knowledge of installation technology, machine maintenance, and building management
• Demonstrable knowledge of and experience with security aspects
• Experience in leadership (remotely), with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects
• Demonstrable experience in realizing changes and making an impact.
• No 9 to 5 mentality; willingness to work flexibly and sometimes outside opening hours
• A clear vision of current developments within the field and the ability to translate them into Unilabs' practice
