Your responsibilitiesYour profileOur offerTogether with QHSE team members, shape and support the practical implementation of ISO 9001/ 45001/ 14001 requirements;
Take initiative in improving, adapting and expanding our QHSE processes and Integrated Management System triggered by new/updated standards, QHSE regulations, client requirements, industry best practices, company processes etc.;
Assist other Supporting Departments with their processes and managing their QHSE aspects;
Participate in our audit program, including the follow-up of non-conformities, observations and improvement actions;
Prepare periodic/ annual QHSE performance reports;
Escalate and communicate important QHSE initiatives and issues to QHSE managers and other internal clients;
Higher education in a relevant engineering discipline (Bachelor or Master);
Relevant QHSE experience and interested in developing an extended career in the field of QHSE;
Knowledge of or affinity with ISO 9001/ ISO 45001/ ISO 14001 and other QHSE standards and management systems;
Pragmatic, proactive and forward thinking;
Team player, excellent communication skills, tactful;
Critical and analytical thinking;
Willing to travel abroad occasionally for short periods;
Willing to work on our site in Vlissingen in a rotational schedule;
Fluent in Dutch and English.

Geotechnical Engineer
As a Geotechnical Engineer, you will focus on a wide variety of challenges supporting our cable installation business unit on offshore windfarms. Your challenges will extend from multi-disciplinary cable route engineering to cable burial studies and managing complex soil datasets. You will be responsible for sound and expert output to support our project and tender teams or work on one of our many R&D projects.
The engineering department in Breda consists of approximately 30 employees. You will work in an international team of 8 Hydraulic and Geotechnical engineers. As a geotechnical engineer you will support our commercial and project teams by providing, amongst other things, expert advice on cable protection strategies and cable route design.
